Bill Cosby Called To Stand Trial

Bill

Reports emerged yesterday that the preliminary hearing of Bill Cosby’s case was to hold to determine if he would stand trail.
News emerging from the hearing indicates that a Pennsylvania judge has ordered Comedian Bill Cosby to stand trail on charges of s*xual assault.
The 78-year-old entertainer is accused of  inducing victim, Andrea Costand, with pills and wine which left her too dizzy let allow consent to s*x.
Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, but the judge has the option to have him serve the sentences concurrently, which means he could serve 10 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
The case was reopened last year after more than 40 women came forward with similar accusations even when Cosby pleaded not guilty as all encounters were consensual. The trial date has not been set.
During the hearing, Cosby’s lawyer had a heated exchange with the judge over police reading a statement from the accuser, Andrea Constand.
Brain McMonagle called her statement ‘hearsay’ and argued that Ms Constand, who lives in Toronto, should have testified in person.
