Amazing 'Good Samaritans' who held on to suicidal man for TWO HOURS to stop him jumping from bridge

These are the photographs which reveal the incredible compassion shown by 'Good Samaritans' - passing members of the public - who came to the rescue of a man who was threatening to jump from a bridge.
The pictures reveal how a small crowd gathered around the man who teetered on the edge of the foot bridge in Golders Green, North London - and gripped onto him tightly, refusing to let him go.
The group who came together in an impromptu demonstration of human compassion - as they held on tight to various parts of his body - were passers-by who aren't believed to have known each other before the event.
Some even tied ropes around his torso and legs to secure his body to the railings and prevent him from jumping.
One man appeared to be desperately gripping his belt, while another held is arms around his neck and a third tightly held his legs.
