Brian May talks about Freddie Mercury's desperate battle with AIDs and how it cost him his foot

He has never really shared details of Freddie Mercury's battle with AIDS.
But, this week, Queen's guitarist Brain May has shocked fans by revealing the extent to which the disease took its physical toll.
Writing in new picture book, Queen in 3-D, the 69 year-old says the late singer/songwriter lost most of his foot shortly before his death.
"The problem was actually his foot - and, tragically there was very little left of it," he explained to The Sunday Times Magazine.
